As a busy mom with a fast-growing daughter, Annette Waters understands what it’s like to be constantly going and not always in the position to provide healthy meals for her family.

Between school, PTA, errands, extracurricular activities – and a thriving fitness studio, she knows well how hard it can be to find the time to prepare something healthy and nutritious.

But  – Annette was determined to ensure that her daughter Lexi would grow up staying active and knowing the difference between foods that only tasted good and foods that made you feel good. And so what did Annette, a fitness trainer and ASHA certified speech language pathologist do – she trained her of course!

And thus – in 2017 Annette created a simple yet effective program called Fit Kids 4 Life that would teach kids how to build, maintain and enjoy a healthy life.

FIT KIDS 4 LIFE | PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The FIT KIDS 4 LIFE program is a flexible plan that helps teach children ages 5-15 how to eat well, how to exercise and how to keep their minds and bodies healthy. It provides a balance of education and fitness activities coupled with a lots of skill-building on topics that help kids develop positive habits regarding their health and well-being.

In this 12-week program we provide a well-rounded education and experience for kids and teach them how to properly prepare healthy foods, budget and shop (using our “Cooking Matters” curriculum), healthy and delicious recipes, meal planning, exercise routines and more. Children also receive multiple “Super FitKid” nutrition workshops that teaches them the basics of fueling their bodies properly, understanding their bodies need’s and craving’s and setting attainable goals that make healthy eating part of their lifestyle.

In as little as 3 weeks, many of the child participants in our FIT KIDS 4 LIFE program have learned some of these life-lesson skills:

Overall, the FIT KIDS 4 LIFE nutrition and fitness program for kids provides the proper education on nutrition, basic human physiology, garden exposure, activities, recipes and menu selection to teach children and their families how to lead and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Each program is unique and targets various age ranges, group sizes and individual goals for the children who participate. These are tailored programs that are structured specifically for you child and are designed to produce results.
